About Us

Initial research and planning for the campaign was supported by the Kendeda Fund and overseen by four mission-driven non-profit partners: Evergreen Cooperatives, The ICA Group, Nexus Community Partners, and Project Equity.

The EO= founding partners came together to expand the employee ownership movement, helping more small businesses thrive, empowering workers with higher quality jobs, and building more equitable communities.

Most EO information is aimed at people who’ve already decided to transition.  There was far less practical guidance for people who don’t know all the benefits EO offers and how it could help their business, their employees and their retirement plans.

Our campaign is designed to fill that gap.

We are supporting small businesses with tools designed to help them determine exactly how EO can help their business thrive.  Then they can connect with experts to find the solution that will work best for them.
